“World Environment Day” Painting Competition

Painting competition on “World Environment Day” held on 9^th JUNE, 2016 at Badamwari Park, Srinagar

J&K BANK organized  a painting competition at Badamwari on 9^th june 2015  among school children in the age group of 10 – 15 years on the eve of “World Environment Day” between 10:30 am – 1.00 pm. The competition was based on theme i.e “How to save the food and other essential resources in view of increasing population.” 17 students of classes 7^th and 8^th   from our school participated in this competition. Out of which two girls  namely Esha Malhotra of 7^th B and Sandleen of 7^th G won the consolation prizes, which was a proud moment for  all of us. The objective of this competition was to inculcate the spirit of healthy competition among the young ones to make them carry the same instinct all along their life and above all making them environmentally conscious citizens.
