Two day Teacher’s Training Workshop on ‘Growth Mindset’ held
A two-day teachers training workshop on ‘Growth Mindset’ was held for teachers of senior school at the school on 19th and 20th July. The resource person for the event was Mrs. Seema Sheikh, Principal Pragyna Bodhini High school, Director Teacher Enriching approach, Director Tap the Talent academy, Peace Educator, regional head for AFS, British Council School Ambassador, NABET Accessor, Chief convener-MCGM, and a core member of ETST Committee.
During the workshop Mrs. Seema emphasized on developing positivity in the class room through compassion. She conducted various exercises both individual and group in order to engage the teachers in an interactive mode for the better comprehension of the growth mindset. She further explained various theories like Clean slate, and 6 steps of growth through creativity and imagination, communication and collaboration, digital literacy, citizenships and student leadership and elaborated the importance of the application of these theories. Furthermore, she emphasised on the importance of setting ground rules in a classroom for the effective and balanced student teacher relationship in the classroom.
