The students of Tiny Tots of Delhi Public School, Srinagar organized a special assembly to celebrate the festival ‘Eid-ul-Azha’ and Teacher’s Day on 8th September, 2017. The two anchors of class IIRida and Esa took us through the program with great verve and enthusiasm.

The assembly commenced with a prayer in praise and appreciation of God. The speakers spoke about the importance of Eid-ul-Azha followed by a beautiful Eid song by the group of students. The song brought out the theme of harmony, respect and sacrifice.

The speakers also touched upon the role of teachers in shaping the minds of future citizens. A group of students presented a beautiful song dedicated to teachers that marked the importance of teacher’s day.

Students of class II put forward an eye catching rendition of Kashmir Ro’f . The audience was suitably mesmerized. The performance of young girls was appreciated by one and all.

Last but not the least was the Skit presentation by class II students. The performance was successful in conveying the importance of respect for our elders. The assembly received overwhelming and unanimous praise. The children had worked hard to perform their best while the teachers also played an important role in making the assembly a success.

The children were encouraged by the presence of the  Vice Principal, Ms. Shafaq Afshan who presided over the proceedings.
