Ski Camps conducted in Winter Break

The snow skiing courses were conducted by our school this year from 4th Feb, 2015 to 17th Feb, 2015 through Indian Institute of Skiing and Mountaineering, Gulmarg. The courses were divided into three levels: Basic, Intermediate and Advance Skills. Our group consisted of 42 students including boys and girls with five teachers assisting them namely Mr. Tejinder Singh, Mr. Imran, Mr. Muzzaffar, Ms Salma and Ms Neelofar. All students showed a great enthusiasm and dedication towards learning the techniques of all kinds. Some of our students showed extra ordinary skills in skiing and were rewarded by CO tourism. Our school succeeded to grab nine trophies at different levels.

1. Fanoos Bhat (VIII) Ist position in basic skiing techniques (Girls).
2. Amaan Bilal (VII) Ist position in basic skiing techniques.
3. Qadri Ibrahim (III) 2nd position in basic skiing techniques.
4. Hanan Javid Shah (VII) Ist in slalom (Basic Course).
5. MohdMustanzir (VII) Ist position in Intermediate skiing techniques.
6. Azhad Arshad (IV) Ist in Slalom (Intermediate Course).
7. Hanan Shafiq (VIII) 3rd in Slalom (Intermediate Course).
8. Zamin Shabir Bhat (VIII) 3rd in slalom (Advance Course).
9. Sadiq (II) Consolation prize. (youngest student in the whole course).
