Session with Muzamil Karim, renowned Clinical Psychologist
Mr. Muzamil Karim, a renowned Clinical Psychologist visited the premises of Delhi Public School, Srinagar between 17th- 19th of December 2013. Mr. Muzamil held counselling sessions with the Incharge Teachers of Delhi Public School, Srinagar in which he highlighted and emphasized the importance of understanding the child’s world. During the sessions he talked about the various contexts and meta-beliefs that are responsible for various maladaptive and problematic behaviours of the students. He highlighted the usage of various skills and techniques used to understand such contexts and target such belief systems to bring in positive change.
The teachers were very impressed by the interaction sessions with him and look forward for more such sessions in immediate future.
