School holds an interaction session with Kashif Siddiqi – International Footballer
A motivational and interaction session was conducted for the students of classes IX & X with Kashif Siddiqi, an international footballer who plays for Pakistan besides the Kashmiri Club Real Kashmir. The London Born Kashif is also one of the founders of ‘Football for Peace’ which strives to use football towards a better society. In 2011, Siddiqi founded the Kashif Siddiqi Foundation, which aims to encourage young British Asians into following and playing the game. He shared his life events with the children. and stressed on the need for “Perseverance, dedication and respect for parents.”
Mr. Siddiqui has vast experience of playing in the United Kingdom, United States and the Gulf. He along with his wife and owner of the team were felicitated by the Principal, Mr Alistair R.A Freese. The students were inspired by him and look forward for more interactions like this.
