School conducts Investiture Ceremony 2019
An investiture ceremony was held on Wednesday 8th May 2019 to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of the school to lead their school from the front with commitment, confidence and competence.
The ceremony began with an impressive parade of the prefects to the music of the “Duke of York March” lead by their respective Housemasters and House Mistresses. The oath taking ceremony was conducted next. Prefects were administered the oath by the Principal Mr. Alistair R.A Freese. The Oath was administered by Mr.Alistair Freese where in all the school Prefects from class XI – XII swore to work for the welfare of the school and vowed to act as role models for the rest of the school to emulate. The oath was followed by conferring the badges to house & sports captains by Principal, Vice Principal and their respective house masters and house mistresses. All the class representatives from class XI – XII were also bestowed their respective badges.
The ceremony concluded with the handing over of school flags to the Head Boy and the Head Girl by the Principal, and the House Flags to the House Captains by their House Masters and House Mistresses following which they marched back towards their houses amid much applause.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Vice Pricipal Ms.Shafaq Afshan followed by Head Boy and Head Girl. The members of newly elected Prefect body are as follows:
