Drop Everything And Read activity held
English activity DEAR(Drop Everything And Read) was held on 18th June 2019 from 11:30 am to 12:05 pm. Students of classes LKG-XII, teachers, non-teaching staff, administration and school management, were seen engrossed in books of their choice during the activity. As the hooter went off, all other activities were put to a complete halt.
The activity is held twice a year during the academic session. The aim of DEAR is to provide people(especially students)a breath of fresh air during the hectic schedule of the day and a time to soothe themselves while at school. It also aims at reminding them that reading should be an activity of top priority.
