Doordarshan Kendra conducts a program at school
In its effort to create awareness about how to eradicate social evils from society, Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar conducted a program “Youth Ki Aawaz Youth kay Saath” at DPS Srinagar on May, 2nd, 2019, with Anchor Mudasir Yaqoob, Mr Sajad Ahmed, SP North Srinagar and Ms Abida War, Social activist. The participants discussed the role of students in eradicating social evils from the society. Interacting with the students, they discussed several issues of concern to the students including eve teasing, establishing secure environment at tuition centers, countering harassment, and drug addiction. Students appreciated the efforts of Doordarshan Kendra for organizing the program. and pledged to extend platforms to discuss more about social evils and to provide solutions to overcome them .
