Dipsites selected for National Level Street Play Competition.

(TGELF) Harmony Co-creating Tomorrow 2015 organized street blenders-street play state level competition on 29th September 2015 at ALMOND VILLA at Boulevard, Srinagar.

Our school participated in the theatre competition with a group of five students from class 8th and 9th. The participants included Jannan Kazmi(8th I), Adain Shabir 8th A), Saud  AL Rashid(9th H), Noman Zahoor(8th A) and Shah Hannan (9th C) escorted by theatre teacher Sajid Reshi.

The play performed by the students of our school was based on sexual harassment against women at public and work places.

The play was performed under the caption of “Hatke Bache ” and it concentrated on different aspects of harassment in Delhi (India). The play ended with the note that “ Hum hain toh tum ho” which meant that women are as important as men in our society. The duration of the play was 6 min 18 sec.

The students of our school qualified for nationals to be held at Scottish High International School, in Gurgaon on 28th and 29th November 2015.
