Class 1st and 2nd begin new Academic Year
It was a celebration time in “Tiny Tots” as the new entrants of class 1 and 2 joined the school to begin a new school year, especially after the gloom and doom of last year. The children received a warm welcome from the school and management. Teachers had decorated the wing with balloons, festoons, ribbons, creative bulletin boards, etc. to cheer up the tiny tots who reached the classrooms.
The day commenced with guiding students from their previous classes to their new allotted classes. The teachers introduced themselves to the students and made them comfortable with their love and care. They were guided to follow the correct procedures of the school starting with keeping their bags at the right place, taking care of their belongings, minding class rules and getting to know each other.
A special welcome assembly conducted by the teachers for the students followed. The assembly commenced with the Morning Prayer in praise and admiration of the creator of the whole universe. It was followed was the beautiful choral song “I Have a Dream” presented by group of teachers, which gave voice to every emotion on the beginning of new school year that lies ahead. The students also enjoyed a puppet show presented by the teachers.
The assembly concluded with a short address by Academic Incharge Ms. Radifa Nazir who acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of teachers and wished them luck.
