Annual Sports Day (III – V)
Sports cum cultural day was celebrated today at our school. The event commenced with the welcome speech by Syed Usra, this was followed by lighting of the lamp by Mr. Vijay Dhar & Kiran Dhar. The sports day opened with an oath ceremony. The events lined up for the day starting with the march past of six houses of class 5th. The colourful cultural items were presented by all the six houses showcasing their talent and hard-work and depicting the culture of different states e.g. J&K, Punjab, Gujrat, West Bengal and Goa. The excitement of the event, liveliness and spontaneous actions of the parents (audience) were noteworthy.
Poplar House was adjudged the best house. The judgement was done on the basis of discipline, number of medals won and synchronisation in March Past.
