Academic I/Cs participate in capacity building workshop at Delhi

Six Academic Incharges from the school participated in a three-day capacity building workshop on the theme ‘Prepare Leaders for the Future Learning Society’ from 20th December 2019 to 22nd December 2019. The workshop was organised by Indira Educational Consultancy Services at India International Centre, New Delhi. 40 participants from all over India attended the workshop which included a Chairman, 2 Managing Directors, 5 Directors, 18 Principals, 2 Vice-Principals, few coordinators and PGT’s.

The main topics that were addressed during these three days were:

  • Levels of leadership
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • The challenges to excellence in leadership
  • Experiential learning
  • Lateral thinking
  • Blended learning
  • Leaders as difference makers
  • Monitoring with tools of ongoing assessment
  • Financial management of the school

The workshop was enriching, thought provoking and provided opportunities for the participants to hone the leadership skills of participants. Stress was laid on teachers as instruments of hers, give them a sense of hope, and optimism which will eventually instill confidence in classrooms. Focus was laid on the notion of blended learning which saves teacher-learner time and improves learning. The use of technology to bring teacher efficacy was also deliberated in detail. Constant feedback was sought and provided which helped address opacities and limitations.
