School bags award at De Augusto Festival, Kolkata
Our school bagged the ‘Most Enthusiastic Team Award’ at Chapter IV of The De Augusto Festival held at Kolakata. More than twenty schools from across the country participated in the festival. The chief Guest for the morning was Mr Soumitra Ray founder member of the renowned Bengali folk band Bhoomi, while Chief Guest for the Day was the Consulate General of Nepal, Mr. Eaknarayan Aryal. The festival was sponsored by The Telegraph, young metro and Friends FM
Our teams put on stellar shows in the various events which included Fashion Ramp, Western Band and Junk Art, which were greatly applauded by the judges and spectators. Moreover, we were placed second in junk art category where our students demonstrated that art has the capacity to transcend the most mundane.
