Ahmed Omar Banday started as the youngest player of the School Cricket team in 2005 followed by an excellent performance in U-15 Inter DPS Tournament. A special permission was given by the Chairman, DPS society for his inclusion in the team as he was younger than the set age criteria. He made it to U-16 Nationals in 2009 and 2010. Scoring 367 runs in 9 matches with 4 fifties was another big achievement in U-19 Nationals, 2011. This performance led to his selection in U-19 BCCI specialized camp at  Mohali. In 2012,  Ahmed was declared Man of the Match in KPL’s first match and received a cash prize of Rs. 5000. The same year, he gave a brilliant performance in U-19 Nationals scoring 565 runs and hitting 7 fifties. He represented the state in U-19 North Zone Team and played two matches with 1 fifty. After playing 5 matches in Ranjhi Trophy, Ahmed has placed his name in Ranjhi Trophy’s T-20 and is all set to give a brilliant performance again.
